Maine Guide To Cannabis

My name is not Wallace Dogman, but you can call me Wallace Dogman. I moved to the Portland area a couple of years ago. I’m a medical cardholder. I primarily smoke flower.

Being a gray beard, and having been an east coast smoker for many decades, my exposure to the variety and quality of weed in Maine has been an eye-opening (and closing) experience. There’s so much going on Maine, so many places to get cannabis in any form and any price point, I find myself continually amazed about what I don’t know. I frequent a handful of medical dispensaries where my experiences are always positive. However, everyday I drive by, or hear about another resource that I know nothing about. I am hesitant to experiment with a new dispensary or new grower, because what I don’t know costs money, and where I frequent rarely disappoints. But I always get this tiny bit of fear-of-missing-out.

This site was created to help demystify the Maine cannabis consumer experience by providing timely information on the products a select group of Maine cannabis consumers are buying and where they’re getting them from.

While we ramp up, I’ll be the primary poster, so the focus will be on flower purchased at medical dispensaries in southern Maine. As more reviewers come online, we will expand our geographic and product reach.

There’s a boatload of cannabis information available online. We’re not trying to recreate what already exists. We are offering local knowledge from experienced enthusiasts.
